Alarm Monitoring

How does it Work

A residential alarm system is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to protect your home. Home security systems not only work to stop thieves and intruders from accessing your home, but work to dissuade intruders from selecting your home, simply by having the system installed. An opportunistic intruder will select the most easily accessible home and will usually not even consider a home with an alarm system in place. Total Home Security provides residential and commercial security alarm monitoring in Michigan to ensure your home is protected at all hours of the day.

Your security system includes multiple sensors based on the package and add-ons you choose. When a sensor detects a problem, such as movement around a door or window, it sends a signal to the control panel. The panel connects with the Monitronics Alarm Response Center and routes data to an individual workstation. A Monitronics operator then assesses the situation and takes necessary action, informing you of any unexpected entrance and alerting authorities to the location if required.
